Eye Security and HarfangLab Join Forces to Protect Europe’s Businesses with European-built EDR and a 24/7 EU-based SOC

Organisations can soon choose HarfangLab’s European-developed EDR with EU-hosted data, monitored and managed by Eye Security’s 24/7 SOC with service in German, Dutch, and English

The Hague / Berlin, 27 October 2026. Organisations can soon choose a cybersecurity service where the technology, the data, and the response teams are all based in Europe. Eye Security and HarfangLab are partnering to combine HarfangLab’s Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platform, developed and hosted in the EU, with Eye Security’s Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service featuring a 24/7 European SOC and Incident Response. A limited beta is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026, with a broader market launch planned for early 2027.

The partnership brings together expertise rooted in national intelligence and cyber defence:

“Our founders built their careers protecting national security. We created Eye to make this expertise available to the businesses Europe depends on: the hospitals, the manufacturers, the logistics operators,” says Job Kuijpers, CEO and Co-Founder of Eye Security. “European sovereignty is the freedom to choose without compromising protection. With HarfangLab, we bring European-built technology together with the people who monitor, investigate and respond, around the clock.”

HarfangLab processes data and trains its AI models in-house, with data stored in the EU. Its broader Workspace Detection and Response platform extends protection across the modern workspace, from AI agents and identities to endpoints, cloud environments, and servers. It builds on innovative detection and response technology refined since 2018, with its EDR demonstrating strong detection and accuracy results in independent evaluations, including the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations and EDR Telemetry Project. Eye Security selected HarfangLab following extensive testing of its EDR, with rich telemetry, strong active response capabilities, and low system load central to the decision.

Customers will soon be able to introduce HarfangLab alongside compatible existing EDR deployments, including US-based products. The partnership expands their choice without requiring an immediate replacement of their existing security technology.

“Our customers have specifically asked us for European security solutions. They want to know where the software they use comes from and where their data is stored,” says Ze’ev Rozov, Chief Business Officer at Eye Security. “With HarfangLab, we can provide them with a strong European EDR alternative. Customers can plan the transition around their own operational needs.”

The partners bring credentials from Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). Eye Security is officially recognised by the BSI as a qualified Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) response service provider. HarfangLab’s EDR agent is certified under the BSI’s BSZ scheme following an independent evaluation. HarfangLab’s EDR also holds certification and qualification from ANSSI.

For HarfangLab, the partnership opens up new opportunities to reach more businesses with its technology throughout Europe:

“Europe’s cyber resilience depends on turning technical capability into operational protection,” says Anouck Teiller, Deputy CEO at HarfangLab. “Together with Eye Security, we are connecting European-built endpoint security with experts who investigate and respond 24/7. That gives mid-sized organisations real choice: European technology, EU-hosted data, and European teams accountable for the response.”

As a next step, Eye Security plans to integrate HarfangLab with its Agentic SOC, providing proactive threat and vulnerability hunting on top of European-built EDR. The integration will also use HarfangLab’s asset-discovery capabilities to highlight unmonitored assets and make Shadow IT and gaps in endpoint monitoring more visible.

The partnership will be announced at the it-sa trade fair in Nuremberg. Organisations interested in the Q4 2026 beta can contact Eye Security to discuss participation and their deployment requirements.

How Much Should a Mid-Sized Business Spend on Cybersecurity?

Even cybersecurity has to compete for budget. Invest too little, and you leave gaps that can become expensive. Spend heavily without knowing where the money is going, and you build an impressive security stack without materially reducing risk. So what are other businesses spending? And is there evidence that greater investment pays off?

MDR Has Moved Beyond the SOC: Europe’s Mid-Market Shift

For Europe’s mid-market, the case for MDR is practical. It provides access to continuous monitoring, specialist expertise, and active incident response without the cost and complexity of building those capabilities entirely in-house. For business leaders, three factors are pushing MDR higher up the agenda: 24/7 coverage is difficult to build internally. Europe’s cybersecurity skills shortage […]
